Comic Con India has officially announced the return of its Pune edition, with the city set to host the pop-culture extravaganza on March 21 and 22, 2026, at Yash Lawns, Bibvewadi Road.
Tickets for the upcoming edition are available exclusively on District by Zomato.
Presented by Maruti Suzuki Arena and powered by Crunchyroll, Pune Comic Con will mark the 13th edition of Comic Con India, bringing together fans for a two-day celebration of comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, and immersive fan experiences.
The event is positioned as a flagship annual gathering for pop-culture enthusiasts, offering a platform for creativity, fandom, and community engagement.

Comic Con India Returns to Pune: Celebration of Pop Culture and Fandom
Known as Maharashtra’s cultural capital, Pune has long been recognised for its youth-driven festivals, university-led events, and thriving creative communities.
Comic Con India aims to build on this cultural foundation by transforming the Pune edition into a shared experiential platform where cosplay, art, gaming, and fandom converge.
With a strong base of college students and young professionals, the city’s fandom ecosystem continues to grow, making Pune a natural destination for the event’s return.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, highlighted Pune’s creative identity and its alignment with the Comic Con ethos.
He noted that the city’s culture of storytelling, bookshops, colleges, and evolving fan communities has consistently reflected itself at Comic Con events across India, making Pune an integral part of the platform’s journey.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, also emphasised Pune’s participative and open creative culture, visible across college festivals, independent art spaces, theatre groups, and gaming cafés.
She added that the Pune edition aims to reflect this spirit of participation and belonging, while also encouraging cosplayers to draw inspiration from Maharashtra’s rich cultural legacy.

Comic Con India’s Immersive Experiences and Creator Showcases
Over the years, Comic Con India has established itself as one of the country’s most recognisable pop-culture platforms, known for immersive fan-first experiences.
The event typically features interactive fan zones, exclusive franchise showcases, creator interactions, cosplay competitions, live performances, and large-scale gaming arenas.
Previous editions have showcased experiences from Maruti Suzuki Arena, Crunchyroll, Universal Studios, DreamWorks, and the NODWIN Gaming Arena, with participation from global and Indian brands across gaming and technology.
Live entertainment has also been a key highlight, with performances and appearances by well-known stand-up comedians and entertainers.
The Pune Comic Con 2026 edition will feature immersive zones, interactive panel discussions, cosplay showcases, competitive gaming arenas, and live performances.
Fans can also expect to interact with prominent Indian comic book creators and publishers, including representatives from Amar Chitra Katha, independent cartoonists, graphic novel brands, and Indian comic publishing houses.
